​a comienzos de 2025, tuve la suerte de trabajar con Matlocano, artista musical urbano limeño, en los visuales de su álbum debut #CU4RTA. 

​

siento que la oportunidad de trabajar con alguien con una visión tan clara y pasional con su arte fue bastante refrescante, tanto que hacer los visuales para 14 canciones pareció hasta ligero de producir.

 

hablando del trabajo en sí, Matlo tenía la idea de contar su historia a través de una estética cartoony y grunge, evocando el recuerdo de aquellos programas que MTV y Cartoon Network transmitían a altas horas de la noche, estableciendo un paralelismo tanto visual como nostálgico con la narrativa del álbum.

in early 2025, I was fortunate enough to work with Matlocano, an urban music artist from Lima, on the visuals for his debut album #CU4RTA.

 

I feel the opportunity to work with someone with such a clear and passionate vision for his art was quite refreshing, so much so that creating the visuals for 14 songs seemed effortless to produce.

 

speaking of the work itself, Matlo had the idea of ​​telling his story through a cartoony, grunge aesthetic, evoking memories of those late-night shows that MTV and Cartoon Network used to broadcast, establishing both a visual and nostalgic parallel with the album's narrative.
